I took my nephew out for his first session on Sunday @
Cowell’s Cove in Santa Cruz. We were out there at 5am since negative
tide was hitting around 6am. Cowell’s is only good during negative or
low tides, even when there is a sweet swell.
My nephew’s very first ride was sooo EPIC! He took off on his first wave, stood up and leaned it to the right and went backside all the way down the line! Kid is such a natural. He didn’t catch any waves on camera (He was on my 8’6 rather then the 10 foot foam beginner board), but his first and second rides were pretty jaw dropping since he never caught a wave before.
