23 feet @ 16's

Bolinas today. Checked the Bodega Buoy this morning and it read that the swell was coming from NWN at 23ft at 16’s with a mid range SSW at 2ft @ 16’s topping out this morning. Most breaks were just washing out. My buddy, “The Duck” was in Santa Cruz and checked out Capitola, and some old man told him that this was the biggest he had seen it in 10 years. But Bolinas, being a place that goes off on south swells, getting just a small piece of this NWN/W swell to have head high, fun barreling waves. It was a bit disorganized, but I had a blast. Caught some really good rights to the left of the Groin sign, which is a bit odd for Bolinas. It was great being back out at the Bo, haven’t been there since July 4th.

Had a great time all weekend. I was at the Hook on Friday and caught a months worth of great waves. On Saturday, hanged out at Sharks and Privates and caught some really fun waves for what was suppose to be a “poor” day. Can’t complain!
